Fair Trade USA: Seeks to increase welfare for small farming families and communities. Guarantees the minimum market price plus up to a 20-cent premium per pound of coffee. These premiums are used to distribute to farming communities and to develop community programs.

Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center Bird Friendly Certification: Promotes biodiversity through the planting of trees for habitat and shade cover. Requires organic certification and the use of specific trees.
